Polaroid #CaptureRealLife (2023)

Collaboration with Polaroid for their TikTok #CaptureRealLife campaign, using their 2nd Gen Now+ camera to capture the beauty and imperfections of everyday life.

I moved away from home in Ireland for the first time back in April, to Berlin, Germany. I visited home for the first time at the end of June into the start of July. I decided to use this opportunity to document the small moments at home I usually wouldn’t have thought twice about had I not been away. Listening to records in my room that I grew up in, getting coffee with old friends, sitting out in the evening with my parents, taking the dogs for a walk on the beach, walking down the same street at blue hour... things like that. Nothing had really changed – it had only been a few months after all, but it did feel a little bit different; And I was able to bring back a box of those moments with me on Polaroid.
